Introduction

Speaker Unit

The Wesley Clover Solutions IP-8 Speaker enables instant, clear, voice communication and monitoring of up to eight speaker channels.

The IP-8 is designed to meet the exacting needs of mission-critical voice environments such as trading floors and command and control centers with any combination of hoot n holler, dial tone, ARD/MRD and market commentary sources . The IP-8 can be deployed as a stand-alone solution with any turret or telephone platform or integrate with Wesley Clover’s IP Voice Communications Platform.

The IP-8 Speaker and IP Voice Communications Platform (VCP) gives customers a uniquely scalable “all-in-one” voice solution for both enterprise and trading telephony that helps them realize the true potential of IP.

How it Works

Each user programmable IP-8 Speaker Module is controlled by the WCS Voice Trading Application Platform (VTAP) in a client-server architecture and is connected via dedicated LAN infrastructure to ensure clear, instant communication. VTAP is a proprietary software application comprising the specialized speaker feature/functionality and administrative GUI and runs on off-the-shelf, high performance servers. When deployed with the WCS Voice Communications Platform and IP Turrets the VTAP is connected to the VCP via SIP trunking and enables seamless operation between the IP Turret and IP-8 Speaker.
